Thanks to Gligar_Man, ArCaN1NeX, Continue and Negrek for helping me make these lists! Thanks a lot to Number1ChanseyFan for the list of DP attacks that cause direct physical contact, and to Bulbapedia for the info on BW attacks. Also, thanks to Venesectrix, Misty and The Muffin Man for responding to my thread on R/S. Thanks to Knight of Time for the links to the details, the corrections to the ability descriptions, and for telling me that some moves affected more than 1 Pokemon in the first place. Thanks to God-Beast at Clockwork Mansion for testing some DP abilities and providing valuable information. ---------------------- ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ---------------------- Abilities triggered by ABILITIES: The abilities list is complete up to the 4th generation. Help is always welcome to improve it. :) Thanks to the Ultimate Pokemon Network, Wraith10's Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire Page, Pokemon Forever, Imagine Games Network, Serebii.net, Bulbapedia, Smogon and Legendary Pokemon for the info. Ability: Adaptibility Effect: STAB is applied twice for moves used by this Pokemon. Ability: Aerilate Effect: Normal type moves become Flying-type moves and receive a 30% boost. Ability: Aftermath Effect: The opponent receives ¼ HP damage if it causes this Pokemon to faint via a move which makes physical contact. Ability: Air Lock Effect: All weather effects are cancelled when this Pokemon enters battle. Ability: Analytic Effect: Boosts the power of the attack by 30% when the Pokemon moves last. Ability: Anger Point Effect: This Pokemon's attack rises to maximum (6 grades) when hit with a Critical Hit. Ability: Anticipation Effect: Upon entering a battle, this Pokemon shakes when its opponent has a Super Effective move. You may ignore this at the Battle Tower. Ability: Arena Trap Effect: The opponent cannot run nor switch. Flying-type Pokemon and Pokemon with the Levitate special ability are unaffected. Ability: Aroma Veil Effect: Protects allies from attacks that restrict their moves (like Imprison, Taunt, Torment, Encore, Disable, Heal Block and Attract). Ability: Aura Break Effect: The effects of "Aura" Abilities (Fairy Aura and Dark Aura) are reversed. Ability: Bad Dreams Effect: Permanent Nightmare effect on opponents (opponents lose 1/8 HP each turn when they sleep). Ability: Battle Armor Effect: Cannot receive a Critical Hit. Ability: Big Pecks Effect: Defense cannot be lowered. Ability: Blaze Effect: When HP is below 1/3rd, Fire's power increases to 1.5 times. Ability: Bulletproof Effect: Protects the Pokemon from Acid Spray, Aura Sphere, Barrage, Bullet Seed, Egg Bomb, Electro Ball, Energy Ball, Focus Blast, Gyro Ball, Ice Ball, Magnet Bomb, Mist Ball, Mud Bomb, Octazooka, Rock Wrecker, Searing Shot, Seed Bomb, Shadow Ball, Sludge Bomb, Weather Ball and Zap Cannon. Ability: Cacophony Effect: avoids sound-based moves (GrassWhistle, Growl, Heal Bell, Hyper Voice, Metal Sound, Perish Song, Roar, Screech, Sing, Snore, Supersonic and Uproar). Ability: Cheek Pouch Effect: Restores 1/3 of the Pokemon's maximum HP when it consumes an attached Berry (even a stolen one), after the effect of the Berry is applied. Ability: Chlorophyll Effect: Speed doubles when Sunny Day is in effect. Ability: Clear Body Effect: The opponent cannot lower this Pokemon's stats, except by using Heart Swap, Guard Swap, or Power Swap. Ability: Cloud Nine Effect: Is not affected by weather. Ability: Color Change Effect: When attacked, this Pokemon changes type to the type of the attack it was hit with. Ability: Competitive Effect: When one of this Pokemon's stats is lowered by an opponent, its Special Attack is increased by two stages. Ability: Compoundeyes Effect: Accuracy increases 30%. Ability: Contrary Effect: Stat changes have an opposite effect on this Pokemon (raising instead of lowering and viceversa). Ability: Cursed Body Effect: When a move makes physical contact with the Pokemon, that move has a 30% chance of becoming disabled. Ability: Cute Charm Effect: Opponents of the opposite gender have a 30% chance of being attracted when touching this Pokemon. Ability: Damp Effect: Neither side can use Explosion or Selfdestruct. Ability: Dark Aura Effect: Increases the damage dealt by Dark-type attacks by 1/3 for all Pokemon on the field. Ability: Defeatist Effect: The Pokemon's Attack and Special Attack are halved when its Hit Points are below 50% of maximum. Ability: Defiant Effect: Attack is raised by two stages when the Pokemon has its stats lowered by an opponent. Ability: Delta Stream Effect: Weather becomes Strong Winds, which removes the weaknesses of Flying-type Pokemon (unless a Pokemon on the field has the Air Lock or Cloud Nine Ability) except for Stealth Rock. Ability: Desolate Land Effect: Weather becomes Extremely Harsh Sunlight, which, in addition to the Harsh Sunlight effects, causes Rain Dance, Sandstorm, Hail and all Water-type moves to fail, causes Sunny Day to ignite Powder, and causes Drought, Drizzle, Sand Stream, and Snow Warning to fail. Ability: Download Effect: Upon entering battle, this Pokemon raises either Attack or Special Attack by 1 grade, depending on the opponent's Defense and Special Defense. Attack is increased when the opponent's Defense is lower than its Special Defense or increases Special Attack when the opponent's Special Defense is lower than its Defense. In 2-on-2 battles, the opponent is chosen at random. If the opponent's Defense and Special Defense are the same, Special Attack is raised one grade. Ability: Drizzle Effect: Rain starts to fall when this Pokemon comes into battle. Ability: Drought Effect: The sun begins to shine when this Pokemon comes into battle. Ability: Dry Skin Effect: If Sunny Day is in Effect, this Pokemon loses 1/8 HP each turn. If Rain Dance is in effect, this regains 1/8 HP each turn. This Pokemon recovers up to 1/4 HP when hit by a Water attack, just like Pokemon with the Water Absorb trait. Fire-Type attacks are 25% more effective against this Pokemon. Ability: Early Bird Effect: SLEEP condition lasts for half as long. Ability: Effect Spore Effect: The opponent has a 10% chance of becoming paralyzed, poisoned or put to sleep after using an offensive attack against this Pokemon. Ability: Fairy Aura Effect: Increases the damage dealt by Fairy-type attacks by 1/3 for all Pokemon on the field. Ability: Filter Effect: Super Effective moves do 1/4 less damage against this Pokemon (1.5× instead of 2×, and 3× instead of 4×). Ability: Flame Body Effect: Has a 30% chance of burning opponents that hit it with an attack that involves physical contact. Ability: Flare Boost Effect: Special Attack is raised by 1 grade when burned. Ability: Flash Fire Effect: Activates when user is hit by a damaging Fire-type move. Once activated, user's Fire-type moves deal 1.5 times damage and user is immune to damage from Fire-type attacks. Ability: Flower Gift Effect: When Sunny Day is in effect, this Pokemon's (and its partner's) Attack and Special Defense increase by 50%. Not stackable if both Pokemon have this trait. Ability: Forecast Effect: Castform will change form and type in different Weather. Fire in Sunny Day, Ice in Hail, Water in Rain Dance. If this Pokemon is changed to a certain type, and then is hit with Gastro Acid, or receives a different trait via Role Play or Skill Swap, it is stuck in that same form until it switches, even if the weather changes. Ability: Forewarn Effect: This Pokemon can see the opponent's moveset. You may ignore this at the Battle Tower. Ability: Friend Guard Effect: Reduces damage done to allies by 25%. Ability: Frisk Effect: This Pokemon can see the opponent's attached item. You may ignore this at the Battle Tower... or anywhere on the forum for that matter. Ability: Fur Coat Effect: Halves all physical damage taken. Ability: Gale Wings Effect: Flying-type moves (except Flying-type Hidden Power) have their priority increased by 1. Ability: Gluttony Effect: This Pokemon eats held berries when its health is 50% or less. Ability: Gooey Effect: When the Pokemon is hit by a move that makes contact, the Speed of the attacking Pokémon is decreased by one stage. If hit by a multi-strike move that makes contact, each hit activates this Ability. Ability: Grass Pelt Effect: Increases Defense by 1 stage in Grassy Terrain. Ability: Guts Effect: Raises attack by 1 grade if affected by a status condition. Burning doesn't reduce the Pokemon's attack. Ability: Harvest Effect: Creates another Berry after one is used. Ability: Healer Effect: At the end of the turn, there is a 30% chance of either ally being healed from a status condition. Ability: Heat Proof Effect: This Pokemon takes only ½ damage from Fire type attacks, and receives only 1/16 HP damage per turn from burns. Ability: Heavy Metal Effect: Doubles the Pokemon's weight. Ability: Honey Gather Effect: Just ignore this. Sweet Honey has no effect at the AC/CC forum anyway. But it may find some in your stories. Ability: Huge Power Effect: Attack doubles in battle, effect reduced by half when the ability is changed. Ability: Hustle Effect: This Pokemon's physical attacks do 1.5 times damage, but their accuracy is reduced by 20% (that is, it's 80% of the physical move's original accuracy). Ability: Hydration Effect: This Pokemon's status effects are healed when Rain Dance is in effect. Ability: Hyper Cutter Effect: Attack cannot be lowered. Ability: Ice Body Effect: Immune to Hail if non-Ice type. When Hail is in effect, this recovers 1/8 HP each turn if it's an Ice-type. Ability: Illuminate Effect: Higher chance of finding wild Pokemon. Ability: Illusion Effect: Comes out disguised as the last Pokemon in the team (in AC/CC, it may assume the appearance of any teammate). The illusion breaks when an attack does damage to the Pokemon, but not from weather effects or entry hazards. Ability: Immunity Effect: Cannot be poisoned. Ability: Imposter Effect: The Pokemon transforms itself into the Pokemon it is facing (same effect as using the move Transform). Ability: Infiltrator Effect: Passes through the foe's barrier and strikes (moves such as Barrier & Light Screen have no effect on the Pokemon's moves). Ability: Inner Focus Effect: Will not flinch unless attacked while using Focus Punch. Ability: Insomnia Effect: Cannot be put to sleep. Ability: Intimidate Effect: Upon entering battle, the opponent's Attack lowers one stage. Ability: Iron Barbs Effect: The opponent takes damage equal to 1/8 of its maximum HP when using a direct contact move on this Pokemon. Ability: Iron Fist Effect: This Pokemon's punching attacks are 1.2 times stronger (20%). Applicable to Bullet Punch, Comet Punch, Dizzy Punch, Dynamicpunch, Fire Punch, Focus Punch, Hammer Arm, Ice Punch, Mach Punch, Mega Punch, Meteor Mash, Shadow Punch, Sky Uppercut, and Thunderpunch, but NOT Sucker Punch. Ability: Justified Effect: Raises Attack by one stage when hit by a Dark-type move. Ability: Keen Eye Effect: Accuracy cannot be lowered. Ability: Klutz Effect: This Pokemon is unaffected by its attached item, except for the decrease in Speed caused by Iron Ball, Macho Brace, Power Anklet, Power Band, Power Belt, Power Brace, Power Lens and Power Weight. Ability: Leaf Guard Effect: Opponents cannot inflict status effects on this Pokemon while Sunny Day is in effect. Ability: Levitate Effect: Unaffected by Ground-type attacks, Spikes, and Toxic Spikes. Can switch out of Arena Trap. The immunities are lost if Gravity is in use, or if the Pokemon uses Ingrain or if they is holding an Iron Ball. Using Roost doesn't make the Pokemon lose Levitate during the turn it is used. Ability: Light Metal Effect: Halves the Pokemon's weight. Ability: Lightningrod Effect: All electric attacks affect this Pokemon instead of their intended target. Ability: Limber Effect: Cannot be paralyzed. Ability: Liquid Ooze Effect: When the opponent absorbs Hit Points, the opponent instead loses Hit Points (half the damage done). Ability: Magic Bounce Effect: Reflects status-changing moves. Ability: Magic Guard Effect: The Pokemon only takes damage from attacks, not from side-effects. Effects like Spikes, Stealth Rock, Burn, Poison, Leech Seed, Hail, Sandstorm, Nightmare, Bad Dreams, Jaboca Berry recoil, Rowap Berry recoil, Life Orb's 10% recoil damage, and regular recoil do no damage to this Pokemon. Struggle's recoil, however, will still do damage. The Pokemon can be poisoned or burnt, but it will not take any damage. The Attack drop associated with being burned still applies. Leech Seed will neither damage a Magic Guard Pokemon nor heal its enemy. Pokemon with Magic Guard cannot activate their target's Jaboca or Rowap Berry. Pain Split works normally on Magic Guard Pokemon. If a Magic Guard Pokemon is under the effects of Toxic poison, their Toxic counter still increases normally, even though they aren't taking damage. This means that if the Pokemon loses Magic Guard, the Toxic damage it receives is the same as it would be getting on that turn if it hadn't had Magic Guard. Magic Guard Pokemon still take poison damage out of battle. This Pokemon can be paralyzed, and its speed will be reduced in that case, but it cannot be fully paralyzed. Ability: Magician Effect: When the Pokemon hits an opponent, its steals the opponent's attached item. Ability: Magma Armor Effect: Cannot be frozen. Ability: Magnet Pull Effect: Steel type opponents cannot run away. Ability: Marvel Scale Effect: Defense raises to 1.5 times when induced with a status condition. Ability: Mega Launcher Effect: Boosts the power of aura and pulse moves by 50%. Ability: Minus Effect: When battling with Plus, Special Attack increases to 1.5 times. Ability: Mold Breaker Effect: Neutralizes all opponents' traits while this Pokemon is attacking, except those that activate when sent into battle. The abilities are restored when the attack is over. Ability: Moody Effect: Raises one stat by one grade and lowers another, also by one grade. Stats are chosen at random. Ability: Motor Drive Effect: Immune to ALL Electric type attacks. When hit by an Electric attack, this Pokemon's speed increases 1 grade. Ability: Moxie Effect: Boosts Attack one stage after knocking out any Pokemon. Ability: Multiscale Effect: Reduces damage by 50% when HP is full. Ability: Multitype Effect: Depending on the Plate attached, this Pokemon's type and form change. Ability: Mummy Effect: Physical contact with this Pokemon spreads this Ability. Ability: Natural Cure Effect: Status Changes are healed when switched. Ability: No Guard Effect: This Pokemon can neither miss nor dodge any attacks. Ability: Normalize Effect: All this Pokemon's moves are Normal type. Ability: Oblivious Effect: Cannot become attracted. Ability: Overcoat Effect: Protects the Pokemon from damage from weather. Ability: Overgrow Effect: When HP is below 1/3rd, Grass's power increases to 1.5 times. Ability: Own Tempo Effect: Cannot become confused. Ability: Parental Bond Effect: All one-strike moves whose target is one opponent become two-strike moves, with the second move being half as strong as the first. See more details here: http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Parental_Bond_%28Ability%29 Ability: Pickpocket Effect: Steals an item when touched by another Pokemon (activated by physical contact). Fails if the user is holding an item or either Pokemon is behind a Substitute. Ability: Pickup Effect: May find an item after battle (Carbos, Full Heal, Full Restore, King's Rock, Nugget, PP Up, Protein, Rare Candy, Revive, Super Potion or Ultraball) when having no items attached. Void at the AC/CC forum. Ability: Pixilate Effect: Normal-type moves become Fairy-type moves and receive a 30% boost. Ability: Plus Effect: When battling with Minus, Special Attack increases to 1.5 times. Ability: Poison Heal Effect: When the Pokemon is poisoned, whether by toxic or normal poisoning, they regain 1/8th of their HP per turn (twice leftovers recovery). It is also immune to all other status conditions because it is technically poisoned. Ability: Poison Point Effect: Has a 30% chance of poisoning opponents that hit it with an attack that involves physical contact. Ability: Poison Touch Effect: The opponent has a 30% chance of being poisoned when hit by a move from this Pokemon that makes physical contact (unless it is Poison type or has Immunity). Ability: Prankster Effect: Gives +1 priority to a status (non-damaging) move. Ability: Pressure Effect: When hit by a move, the opponent's PP lowers by 2 rather than 1. Ability: Primordial Sea Effect: The weather becomes Heavy Rain, which causes Sunny Day, Rain Dance, Sandstorm, Hail and all Fire-type moves to fail (although frozen Pokemon may still use Fire-type moves to thaw, and Powder will still deal damage), and neutralizes the abilities Drought, Drizzle, Sand Stream, and Snow Warning. Ability: Protean Effect: Immediately before using any move (except Struggle), the Pokemon will change its type to be the same type as the move it is using. Protean always causes the user to become a single-type Pokemon. Ability: Pure Power Effect: Attack doubles in battle, effect reduced by half when the ability is changed (same as Huge Power). Ability: Quick Feet Effect: if this Pokemon is burnt, paralyzed or poisoned, its speed increases 1 grade. If the Pokemon is paralyzed, no speed drop is caused by the condition. The Pokemon may still become "fully paralyzed" 25% of the time, however. Ability: Rain Dish Effect: Will heal 1/16 HP in the rain. Ability: Rattled Effect: Speed is raised by one stage when the Pokemon is hit by a Bug-type, Ghost-type or Dark-type move. Ability: Reckless Effect: When this Pokemon uses an attack with recoil, the power of this attack is raised 1.5 times. Ability: Refrigerate Effect: Normal-type moves used by this Pokemon become Ice-type and receive a 30% boost in power. Ability: Regenerator Effect: Restores 1/3 max HP when withdrawn from battle. Ability: Rivalry Effect: If the opponent is of the same gender as this Pokemon, then this Pokemon's Attack rises 1 grade. If the opponent is of the opposite gender, this Pokemon's attack decreases one grade. Ability: Rock Head Effect: Does not take damage from recoil. This does not apply to Struggle's recoil damage, nor does it block the recoil from Life Orb, Jaboca or Rowap Berries, nor the recoil from missing Jump Kick or Hi Jump Kick. Ability: Rough Skin Effect: The opponent is hurt by 1/16th hit points of recoil when using a direct attack against this Pokemon (an attack that involves physical contact). Ability: Run Away Effect: Can always run away from wild Pokemon. Ability: Sand Force Effect: Boosts certain moves' power in a sandstorm. Ability: Sand Rush Effect: Boosts the Pokemon's Speed in a sandstorm. Ability: Sand Stream Effect: Causes a Sandstorm when sent into battle. Ability: Sand Veil Effect: Evasion increases 20% when Sandstorm is used if the Pokemon is Rock, Steel or Ground type. Otherwise, the Pokemon becomes immune to Sandstorm. Ability: Sap Sipper Effect: Boosts Attack by one stage - and does not take damage - when hit by a Grass-type move. Ability: Scrappy Effect: This Pokemon can hit Ghost type Pokemon with Normal and Fighting type moves. Ability: Serene Grace Effect: The chance of a move used by this Pokemon having an effect doubles. Ability: Shadow Tag Effect: Opponents cannot run away nor be switched out. Ability: Shed Skin Effect: Every turn, it has a 1 in 3 chance of healing from a status condition. If the user is burned or poisoned, Shed Skin will cure the user before any burn or poison damage is dealt. Ability: Sheer Force Effect: Moves with a secondary effect are increased in power by 1/3 but lose their secondary effect (when used by this Pokemon). Ability: Shell Armor Effect: Does not receive Critical Hits. Ability: Shield Dust Effect: Opponents' moves do not have side effects on this Pokemon. Ability: Simple Effect: The effects of non status-based stat changers, positive or negative, applied to this Pokemon, are doubled when possible. Ability: Skill Link Effect: Raises number of hits when using moves that hit multiple times, guaranteeing that the maximum number of hits will be reached. Ability: Slow Start Effect: This Pokemon's attack and speed are halved for the first five turns. Ability: Sniper Effect: When this Pokemon inflicts a Critical Hit, the damage is increased (so it's 3× instead or the usual 2× for CH). Ability: Snow Cloak Effect: When Hail is in effect, this Pokemon's evasion rises 1 grade. Ability: Snow Warning Effect: A snow storm starts when this Pokemon comes into battle. Ability: Solar Power Effect: When Sunny Day is in effect, HP decreases 1/8 each turn but Special Attack increases 1 grade. Ability: Solid Rock Effect: Super Effective moves do 1/4 less damage against this Pokemon (1.5× instead of 2×, and 3× instead of 4×). Ability: Soundproof Effect: Unaffected by sound-based moves (Grasswhistle, Growl, Heal Bell, Hyper Voice, Metal Sound, Perish Song, Roar, Screech, Sing, Snore, Supersonic, and Uproar). Ability: Speed Boost Effect: Speed increases by one stage each turn. Ability: Stall Effect: This Pokemon always moves slower than its opponents. Ability: Stance Change Effect: The Pokemon changes form depending on how it battles. Aegislash is in Shield Forme by drfault, changes to Blade Forme when using a damaging move, and reverts to Shield Forme when using King's Shield or switching out. Sleep Talk cannot cause the stance to change. Stance Change cannot be Traced, copied with Role Play, suppressed with Gastro Acid, or replaced with Simple Beam, Worry Seed, Entrainment, Skill Swap, or Mummy. If a Pokemon other than Aegislash obtains Stance Change with Imposter or Transform, the Pokemon will not change Formes. Ability: Static Effect: Has a 30% chance of paralyzing opponents that hit it with an attack that involves physical contact. Ability: Steadfast Effect: This Pokemon's speed increases 1 grade when flinched. Ability: Stench Effect: Lower chance of finding wild Pokemon. Ability: Sticky Hold Effect: The opponent cannot steal this Pokemon's item. Ability: Storm Drain Effect: All Water attacks are drawn to this Pokemon. Ability: Strong Jaw Effect: Increases the power of biting moves (Bite, Crunch, Fire Fang, Ice Fang, Poison Fang and Thunder Fang) by 50%. Ability: Sturdy Effect: Cannot be knocked out in one hit (needs to take damage at least twice in order to faint). Ability: Suction Cups Effect: Cannot be switched out, unaffected by Roar and Whirlwind. Ability: Super Luck Effect: Attacks used by this Pokemon have a one stage increase in their critical hit rate. Ability: Swarm Effect: When HP is below 1/3rd, Bug's power increases to 1.5 times. Ability: Sweet Veil Effect: Prevents the Pokemon and its allies from falling asleep. Ability: Swift Swim Effect: Speed doubles when Rain Dance is in effect. Ability: Symbiosis Effect: When an ally consumes (or throws) an item, the Pokemon will pass its own item to this ally. Ability: Synchronize Effect: When the Pokemon becomes Poisoned, Paralyzed, or Burnt, so does the attacker. Toxic poisoning is passed as regular poison. Ability: Tangled Feet Effect: Evasion increases 1 grade when Confused. Ability: Technician Effect: When this Pokemon uses an attack with a base power of 60 or lower, its base power increases to 1.5×. If a move has variable base power and would have 60 base power or less when used (Avalanche, Natural Gift, Payback, Pursuit, Revenge), it is also boosted by 50%. Ability: Telepathy Effect: Anticipates an ally's attack and dodges it (does not take damage from teammate's attacks). Ability: Teravolt Effect: Moves can be used regardless of Abilities. Ability: Thick Fat Effect: Takes only ½ damage from Fire and Ice attacks. Ability: Tinted Lens Effect: After using attack with less than 1× effectiveness, the power of that attack is doubled. Ability: Torrent Effect: When HP is below 1/3, Water's power increases to 1.5 times. Ability: Tough Claws Effect: Powers up moves that make direct contact by 1/3. Ability: Toxic Boost Effect: Attack stat raises 1 grade when poisoned. Ability: Trace Effect: Copies the opponent's ability (in 2-on-2 battles, randomly copies the ability of either opponent). Ability: Truant Effect: Cannot attack consecutively. Ability: Turboblaze Effect: Moves can be used regardless of Abilities. Ability: Unaware Effect: The opponent's stat changes are ignored by this Pokemon. Ability: Unburden Effect: If this Pokemon uses up or loses its held item, its speed is doubled (not applicable if the item is lost by Fling or Natural Gift). This speed increase cannot be passed to another Pokemon. Ability: Unnerve Effect: Makes the foe nervous and unable to eat Berries. Ability: Victory Star Effect: Boosts the accuracy of this Pokemon and its allies by 10%. Ability: Vital Spirit Effect: Cannot be put to sleep. Ability: Volt Absorb Effect: Restores up to ¼ max HP when hit by electric attacks, instead of taking damage from them (so it restores the minimum between the damage the move would do and ¼ max HP). Cannot receive status modifications or side-effects from Electric-type attacks. Ability: Water Absorb Effect: Restores up to ¼ max HP when hit by water attacks, instead of taking damage from them (so it restores the minimum between the damage the move would do and ¼ max HP). Cannot receive status modifications or side-effects from Water-type attacks. Ability: Water Veil Effect: Cannot become burnt. Ability: Weak Armor Effect: When hit by a physical attack, the Pokemon's Defense is lowered by one stage but Speed is increased by one stage. Ability: White Smoke Effect: The opponent cannot lower this Pokemon's stats. This does not prevent stat loss caused by the user. The protection from Light Screen/Reflect is ignored during a Critical Hit. -Mud Sport provides damage protection from Electric attacks, and Water Sport does so from Fire attacks. They both reduce damage by 1/2. The damage reduction isn't reduced in multiple battles and isn't ignored during a Critical Hit. -Helping Hand makes it so your ally's moves' damage increases 50%. -Follow Me makes it so all of opponents' attacks are directed at the user. -If you use Counter/Mirror Coat and are hit by 2 physical/special attacks respectively, you will only counter the damage to the last Pokemon who hit you, and only to its last hit if it was a multiple-hit attack. -If you attack your partner and they Counter/Mirror Coat, it will fail. -Hail and Sandstorm do not affect digging or diving Pokemon, but they do affect Pokemon that are flying or bouncing. -Flame Burst does 1/16 HP damage to the Pokemon that's closest to the target. -Defog removes the fog weather condition, as well as Light Screen, Reflect, Safeguard, Mist, Spikes, Toxic Spikes and Stealth Rock. Other than that, it only hits the target.
